PRANCING AROUND WITH SLEEPING BEAUTY

This Sleeping Beauty isn’t sure she wants to wake up…

Dance instructor Rory Callahan likes to play it safe. When she meets Kyle, he’s impulsive, persistent, and her exact opposite. He’s pushing her to tango way past her comfort zone and keeping Rory on her toes more than twenty years of dance teachers ever had.

Unfortunately, he’s the grandson of her family’s archrival and she doesn’t want to disappoint them. After all, her parents imagine her as a proper princess – hence her namesake Aurora, AKA Sleeping Beauty. Complicating matters, Rory’s also dealing with a surgeon boyfriend who’s perfect for her (sort of), an obnoxious boss, and desperate dance moms. Kyle wants to change her whole life, but Rory doesn’t like the stakes. After all, princesses are the ones who get the happy endings. . .aren’t they?

This sweet romantic comedy is a standalone and can be read on its own. All books in the series can be read in any order so jump in at any time.

FRAMED

Blood makes you related; Murder makes you family!

Riley Ashcroft discovers that being born into one of the most prominent and powerful families in Massachusetts doesn’t mean a life of ease. Far from it. Since her father, Jack Ashcroft, took his own life thirteen years ago, she has lived in the shadow of scandal. When her grandmother’s personal secretary is brutally murdered, Riley begins to suspect everything she has been told as a child was a lie. Feeling betrayed, she vows to expose her family’s darkest secrets.

Josh Kincaid, an investigative reporter, is on the heels of a major story. Thirteen years ago, Harrison Taylor’s fate lay in the hands of his lawyer, Jack Ashcroft. In the midst of rumors and scandal, Ashcroft committed suicide and Taylor’s fate was decided. Taylor is a convicted killer, but his grandmother has never stopped believing in his innocence. Now, the woman of meager means has offered a reward for any information that will free her grandson. Kincaid’s interest is peaked, but it isn’t until an anonymous tip suggests that the convicted killer was framed that he takes on the case.

Determined that the sins of the past be revealed, Kincaid and Riley search together for answers to the questions that were silenced by Jack Ashcroft’s death. But there is a killer out there that has already proven he will do whatever necessary to keep those secrets buried.

In this tale of deceit and twisted revenge, the two soon realize that no one can be trusted, not even each other…

SONG OF THE FAIRY QUEEN

It’s said of Fairy that if you’re in dire need and you call their name they’ll come. With his castle under siege and his young son in his arms, High King Oryan couldn’t be in any more dire need. With only his Marshal, Morgan, and a handful of Morgan’s men at his back, he has only one direction left to run…up. And only one ally to whom he can turn.
Kyriay, the Queen of the Fairy.

ARDEN

New York Times bestselling author Melody Anne’s novel of dangerous secrets, dark pasts, and sizzling heat.

No one would guess that dedicated teacher Arden Forbes is a billionaire. His profession gives him a purpose that wealth alone can’t provide. He’s developing another passion, too, for Keera Thompson, the new principal. She’s beautiful, enigmatic, guarded, and—after a series of violent school break-ins—in need of protection. And Arden is eager to supply it. But what he wants most is to unearth the mysteries that surround her.

After a troubling past, Keera thought she’d be safe in this sleepy town and that she’d never be shaken again. Yet nothing has unsettled Keera more than her desire for Arden—honorable, gorgeous, and available when she craves him. But despite their explosive chemistry, when it comes to letting Arden in, Keera has her limits…and her secrets.

As the threats escalate, Keera fears that everything she’s been running from is closing in, and there’s only one man to trust. But will the truth drive Arden away…or will it bring the two closer than ever before?

*****
“Laughed, worried and cried at the last battle scene. A pleasure to read. The struggles and triumphs as the The Fairy and the Crown come together to battle and survive. A touching story that will have the most hardened individuals believing in the power of The Fairy and in the power of sacrifice and love.
Read this story. This is definitely a keeper on my Kindle.” The Blue Lady

Review

Conclusion: 90/100
A highly enjoyable book, which if I am honest I couldn’t put down despite not being on my usual reading pile. I enjoyed the battle scenes, the romance scenes and the friendships that grew from the book. If this review was on Amazon, this would get five stars and I truly hope that more people give this book a try and the recognition that it so deserves. — The Indie Book Review Site (for full review please see the web site.)

Four stars and a Recommended Read – “Even though the focus is on Morgan and Kyri, there are a lot of other characters, both human and fairy that bring a lot to the story…  I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants to read a light epic fantasy with a good romance baked into it.” – The To Be Read Pile

From the Inside Flap

Below on the stair came the sound of battle, the clang and clamor of steel on steel, the grunt and groan of men in combat as Morgan’s men held the door. They hammered the invaders back and back, slammed the door shut and barred it quickly. It wouldn’t hold long. They burst out into darkness as the wind whipped at their hair, their clothes, as it battered at them. Far beneath them in the courtyard below, the castle Guard fought a hopeless battle. Steel rang on steel, metal crashed on wood… Light flashed luridly, greenish and unnatural… Magic… Men died in the roar of those flames… Shouts, screams and desperate cries filled the air clearly even so high above. Oryan looked up to the dark night sky. To find it filled with gossamer wings…
