Creatus is the first novel in a planned eight-book paranormalromantic-suspense series. If you haven’t read the prequel novella, CREATUS (They Exist), I recommend that you download it first. It doesn’t give away any secrets of the creatus series, but it sets the stage for what’s to come, and you will better understand the characters’ actions in book one.Β

Kristina knows he exists. She witnessed his supernatural strength when he saved her life and his sorrow when he failed to save her mother. She knows he watches over her from a distance. And she will do whatever it takes to get his attention, even throw herself off the highest bridge in Boston to force him out of the shadows.

Derrick is one of the creatus, created beings who have been on earth more than four thousand years. Many questions surround the origin of these sentient beings who are stronger than humans, eat differently, and live longer. But they were created just as we were, maybe even before us. It is from them we obtain our fairy tales–and our nightmares. They are the reason we believe in superheroes–and monsters. Because…they exist.

In the past, they kept the human race safe from an anonymous distance. But now Derrick must come out of the darkness to save a woman he has no business loving, even if doing so may threaten his entire race.

The Creatus Series is not your normal paranormal story…it’s a realistic romantic mystery based on the myths you’ve heard your entire life. Prepare to believe…

    • Thank you, Sharon! I highly recommend starting with The Prequel ‘Creatus (They Exist)’, and it’s only 30k ish words, so it’s an easy read. Plus…if you read it before 8/31/14, you can enter to win a $100 Amazon Gift Card on my website Just look on the sidebar for the link.

Thank you for reading my stories. I’m thrilled you’ve enjoyed them.

      Have a great weekend! 😊

  1. Jerri and Carmen: I agree with Carmen’s comments about Creatus–They exist. I’ve said ti before and I say it again–I seldom read vampire books. But! I read Creatus, and golly–I want to own my very own vampire. Wooo. Now, I’m hooked. It is a dang good thing I enrolled in Kindle Unlimited–otherwise I’d be spending my Bingo budget on Carmen’s books.

    • Thank you, Dale! I really tried to take on paranormal romance a little differently than everyone else had. I’m definitely happy I wrote the prequel, though. I’d cut the chapters from Book One, and I really missed them, so if you start, I hope you’ll start there. πŸ™‚
